Stuff My Roommate’s Boyfriend Does

My roommate’s boyfriends practically lives in our dorm room with us. By some stroke of luck they both ended up on different floors of the same dorm so we naturally hang out a lot together. But he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and is pretty hiliarious just like my roommate so I don’t mind him being there all the time.

He just says so many crazy things that I like to tell my mom about them over Skype with wildblue satellite internet. She’s also met him through Skype so she can relate all the things I say about him to an actual face and person.

I’m really looking forward to parents weekend in a few weeks so that she can actually meet him face to face. She’s already said that she wants to take us to dinner and meet some of my other friends.

One of the crazy things he’s said is when she couldn’t find her keys and he was referring to her search for Alicia. She didn’t connect the dots and he had to point out that he had nicknamed her keys Alicia Keys. Cheesy, but funny when you’ve been studying biology for way too long.

The Premier of Eclipse

I am certainly what you would consider a twi-hard fan. A twi-hard fan is an individual obsessed with the new twilight books and movies. Almost all women are scorn by the decision between a handsome werewolf and a devilishly good looking vampire. Just a few weeks ago the third film came out called Eclipse.

Each film seems to be getting better and better. I hope they bring a little three dimensional action to the screen for the next two films. The line on opening night for Eclipse was extremely long. Some people had camped out for two entire days just to be the first in the door. Luckily my best friend and I had bought tickets a month in advance. Not only did we get to see this great film on the night it came out but we also got to see it on the mega screen. Other twi-hard fans watched in envy as we marched our way through the fast-track line since we had pre-ordered our tickets with our 4g wireless broadband.

The third film is worth seeing whether you’re a boy, girl, adult, or teenager. There’s action in it for the guys and romance in it for the girls. It’s a film suitable for all and one I would highly recommend.

Being a huge sports fan, it is probably no surprise that my favorite channel to watch on my direct tv package is ESPN. What other channel can give you the plethora of up to the minute sports coverage that the folks at ESPN can? ESPN covers all of my favorite sports such as college basketball, professional football, and professional baseball. In addition, Sportscenter is the best sports news show on the air today. I enjoy all of the analysts on the show and I like the excellent game clips and interviews that they run. Everything you ever wanted to know about any sport will find its way onto Sportscenter in some way. Even the commercials are original and funny. My friends and I often find ourselves quoting lines from the ESPN commercial spots, or talking about a specific commercial we all thought was funny.

The ESPN channel covers so many different aspects about sports that it is hard not to stop and watch when you are flipping through the channels. Sports fans of all kinds will have some time slot dedicated to their favorite sport. You might not watch the channel all day, but not a day goes by where I don’t tune in for something. It is especially important to tune into your favorite teams when they are playing on ESPN as that game is national and you always want your team to perform at its best when it is playing in front of the entire country no matter what sport it is.
